On Friday 25th September Mr Somani, the Editor and Founder of the Gujarati Talking Newspaper, invited everyone involved to come together and celebrate its 12th anniversary.
Sir Andrew Buchanan, the president of NRSB, Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire and representative of HM the Queen, presented all the volunteers who regularly give their time and effort to the Gujarati Talking Newspaper with a certificate and a huge thank you.
After the presentations everyone was invited to eat some lovely home made Indian food in celebration of the 12 years that the Gujarati Talking Newspaper has been providing this invaluable service to the Gujarati speaking population of Nottinghamshire and further afield in the UK.
At present the Gujarati Talking Newspaper is produced in cassette format but there are plans to go digital soon so watch this space!!
