We deliver a full programme of supported day trips; previous trips have included Skegness, Sight Village, The National Railway Museum and a Christmas Shopping Experience at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. For this years trips please read on....

Newark Air Museum – Friday 31st August
Members & carers - £8;  Non-members £10
Located on the old RAF Winthorpe, the museum boasts many aerial artefacts dating from the Second World War onwards.

Ruddington Steam Railway & Lunch – Saturday 13th October
Members & Carers - £7  Non-members - £10
Journey back trough time as we take a trip on Nottinghamshire’s heritage railway. After our trip from Loughborough and back on the old Great Central Railway line, we’ll stop off for a pub lunch.

Christmas Shopping in Birmingham – Wednesday 14th November
Members & carers; £10  Non members £12
What better way to get ready for the festive season than a trip to Birmingham’s famed Bull Ring centre. Staff & volunteers are on hand to act as your own personal shoppers for the day.

Christmas at Chatsworth House – Friday 7th December
Members & Carers; £15  Non members; £18
Enjoy Christmas at one of the countries’ grandest stately homes. We’ll take a tour of the house, decorated for its Christmas theme of Pantomime Dames & Villains.

Payment in full is required 1 month in advance of any trip. If you cancel your place with less than 1 weeks’ notice we will not be able to offer a refund

Further information about each trip will be made available to those who reserve a place. Payment is not necessarily required to reserve a place. As with all our trips we can provide assistance from a member of staff or volunteer should you need one.

Transport is usually provided from Nottingham City, Newark, Mansfield or Worksop. However if there is enough demand from any other area, or if you are a leader of a local VI group and your members wish to join the trip, give us a call and we may be able to arrange a local pick up.
