Film show in aid of charity

Liven up your bank holiday weekend with a gorgeous meal at Cafe Roya in Beeston on Sunday 3 May, followed by a showing of the iconic movie, Pride, all in aid of local charity!

Raising money in memory of Trevor Gerry

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Trevor Gerry Fund, which was set up in memory of local visual impairment Rehabilitation Officer, Trevor Gerry who sadly died aged just 50 following a battle with cancer.

Before his death, Trevor dedicated 15 years of his career to supporting blind and partially sighted people across the city to achieve independence and move forward with their lives after a devastating diagnosis of sight loss. David Sharpe, Trevor’s long-term partner set up the Trevor Gerry Fund in aid of local sight loss charity, My Sight Nottinghamshire, to ensure Trevor’s work and legacy lives on after his death.
