Supporting local blind people since 1843

Pictured are our charity trustees and together we make a difference to local visually impaired people

My Sight Nottinghamshire is an independent local charity that has supported blind and partially sighted people living in the city and county of Nottinghamshire since 1843. Our services are designed to improve opportunities; promote confidence and independence; and reduce loneliness and isolation. The charity has undergone significant changes in recent years, moving into our city centre base last year and developing new county based hubs over the past three years.
Making a difference together
We are seeking to strengthen our board of trustees, and build partnerships and develop our services further over the coming years. If you feel you could contribute to My Sight Notts board of trustees and are able to spare six evenings per year to attend our bi-monthly trustee meetings, we would like to hear from you.
We welcome applications from visually impaired people
Visually impaired people are at the heart of everything we do and so we are committed to ensuring 50% of our trustees are visually impaired. We positively welcome applications from people with sight loss.
