We’re urgently recruiting volunteer My Guide sighted guides and home visitors in areas across Notts to help put an and to the loneliness & isolation experienced by for too many blind and partially sighted people across our county.
Can you spare a little time each week to visit a someone in your local area, perhaps guide them on a walk to the local park or visit them at home for a cuppa and a chat? Full training will be provided by our award-winning team.
So, why not be part of something good and help someone living in your community enjoy many of the simple things most of us take for granted like a walk in the fresh air, a visit to the local shops, tackling a crossword puzzle, reading the post or simply enjoying a natter and a cup of tea? With your support we can help local blind and partially sighted people get more out of life!
