Celebrating hospital volunteering awards

Congratulations to our very own Sarah Briggs and Dave Newsham who were presented with long service volunteering award by Dr Peter Homa, Chief Executive Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Vital support for patients

Our dedicated duo were recognised for the vitally important advice and support they provide to patients attending hospital eye clinics who may be struggling to come to terms with a life-change diagnosis of sight loss.

Make a difference to a local blind person & become a My Sight volunteer

You too could join our award winning team of volunteers and help change the life of a local blind or partially sighted person. Not only will you volunteering help someone in y our community to get more out of life, you'll also learn new skills for your CV, meet new people and do something that is really rewarding.

We currently have volunteer vacancies for My Guide sighted guides, drivers, charity shop workers and volunteers to help out at our social groups in Mansfield, Newark and Nottingham - call us to find out more!
