Salary: £27,632 FTE (£16,574 actual salary)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week

My Sight Notts is a local sight loss charity working with people across Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire who are experiencing sight loss.
Shared Vision is a practical and emotional support service to enable people to come to terms with their diagnosis of sight loss. We are looking for candidates with empathetic or therapeutic skills, strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, which they can use to facilitate peer support groups to support people living with sight loss.

Only one in four people with sight loss of working age are in employment. Many people also leave work unnecessarily due to sight loss. We aim to change this. We actively encourage people with a disability to apply for any roles at My Sight. Currently 50% of our front delivery service staff and 50% of our trustees have some form of visual impairment.
