Our weekly social groups offer our older service users the chance to get together and take part in activities such as flower arranging, card making, music appreciation and dancing.
Craft, quizzes, music appreciation, reminiscing and a choice of discussion or sequence dancing. The group also has a vareity of special quests speakers, storytellers, a Chiropodist and on occasion they go out for meals and day trips. The group runs from 10am - 2:30pm every Thursday.
There are of course lots of independent social and self help groups all around Nottinghamshire, if you wish to find out more about these please contact us. The group currently meets at Birchover Community Centre, at 83 Birchover Road, Bilborogh.
This new group meets at St Peter's centre from 10:00 - 13:30 for tea, coffee, conversation, friendship, equipment days, guest speakers, day trips, pub lunches and more!
The Mansfield social group is part of My Sight Nottinghamshire's new push to bring services to the wider county. With help from the Big Lottery Fund we hope that these services will go from strength to strength over the coming months. If you would like to get involved with the Mansfield group as a service user or as a volunteer then contact Danny on email@example.com
