Rambling Group

Our rambling group meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. The meeting point is the Nuthall Pub, Nottingham Road, Nuthall, Nottingham, NG8 6AX at 9.15am sharp. All walks are supported by experienced sighted guides. Please note guide dogs are not permitted on these walks.

There is a charge of £4 each to cover transport and the guides.

10th October – Laxton, Kneesall, 6.5 miles, Easy

24th October – Southwell, Morton, Brackenhurst, 6.5 miles, Easy

14th November – Burnt Stump, Sansom Wood, 6.5 miles, Easy

Please note: –    All distances are approximate.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE PROPERLY EQUIPPED ACCORDING TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, PARTICULARLY REGARDING APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR. Walking Boots are essential. The Leader reserves the right to ask you not to take part if it is felt that the safety of others may be put at risk due to inappropriate equipment. Please also bring a change of footwear for the return journey.

Please bring your own tea/coffee for a morning break, and also a picnic lunch.

Please be aware that our walks often involve stiles, difficult and muddy terrain and bring us into contact with farm livestock. One-to-one guiding is provided by experienced guides.
