Community Cafe Manager Job Opportunity

Salary: £21,000 pro rata 25 hours per week
Fixed term contract: 12 months initially with potential for extension (dependent on success of cafe)
Location: Bright modern city-centre hub on 26-28 Heathcoat Street Nottingham NG1 3AA

Then our exciting new role as Community Cafe Manager could be your perfect opportunity to create a community cafe that will change lives by reducing social isolation and opening the door to employment for blind and partially sighted volunteers.
My Sight Notts is a local charity that provides emotional support, practical advice and leisure opportunities for blind and partially sighted people. We have recently renovated and refurbished our Nottingham city centre hub and we’re looking to appoint a Community Cafe Manager to establish, manage and develop our exciting new community cafe.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the cafe’s day-to-day operation, promotion and development. You’ll create an atmosphere that is welcoming to all visitors, ensuring a vibrant and accessible environment that provides a modest menu, professional service and training and development of visually impaired volunteers.
The post is funded by the National Lottery through the People’s Projects.
