IT Remote & Group Support
If you need information or support on tech and IT, our Sight Loss Advisors can help. We run drop-in sessions in Nottingham but can also offer remote support.
Nottingham Drop-in sessions
Our IT drop-in group runs on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 1.30pm at our Heathcoat Street premises in Nottingham. You can either bring in your own devices or use our PCs.
Our Sight Loss Advisors will be on hand to support you with your phones, tablets, laptops, apps, accessibility options and issues, best buys and a range of other subjects.
IT drop-in sessions are £3 per visit.
Remote Support
If you require support but cannot attend our drop-in sessions and do not want a home visit we can offer you a remote support session. These sessions enable our Sight Loss Advisors to see what is on your computer screen whilst they are in the office. We will need to set up your c0mputer intially to allow us to do this but then we can talk you through the stages whilst seeing what you are doing.
There is no charge for remote support but we will need to set up TeamViewer on your device.
