IT Remote & Group Support
If you need help with technology or IT, our Sight Loss Advisors are here to support you. We offer both in-person drop-in sessions in Nottingham and remote support, depending on what works best for you.
Nottingham Drop-in session
Our IT drop-in session takes place every Wednesday afternoon from 1.30pm at our Heathcoat Street premises in Nottingham.
You are welcome to bring along your own device, or you can use one of our PCs. Our Sight Loss Advisors are availanle to help with:
- Phones, tablets and laptops
- Apps and accessibility options
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Advice on best buys
- And a wide range of other IT-related topics
Cost: £3 per visit.
Remote Support
If you are unable to attend a drop-in session and don’t require a home visit, we also offer remote support.
These sessions enable our Sight Loss Advisors to view your computer screen whilst they support you from the office. We will help you set everything up initially, then guide you step by step wh8ilst seeing exactly what you are doing.
There is no charge for remote support. You will just need to have TeamViewer installed on your device.
