All blind and partially sighted people living in Nottingham city, or Nottinghamshire county are automatically a free member of My Sight Notts. This broad approach to membership helps to ensure that we remain truly representative of the people we service. This means that everyone with a visual impairment living in Nottinghamshire has a say in our organisation and the work that we do.

Members can, if they attend our Annual General Meeting and exercise their right to vote in the election of the new trustees. This also means that anyone with the visual impairment living in the city and county can become a member of our Service User Member Involvement Team (if there is a vacancy on the committee) and everyone has a right to have their say by taking part in the consultations that SUMIT organise throughout the year.
