Friday 11th March saw Radcliffe on Trent’s Grange Hall play host to a quiz night, with proceeds donated to support My Sight Nottinghamshire and the work they undertake with people living with sight loss across the county.
Organised and run by My Sight President Len Jackson and his wife Di, the quiz attracted 18 teams, with a total of 147 people taking part! With a set of challenging but entertaining questions and a mid-quiz break for a delicious ploughman’s dinner with cheese from the famous Cropwell Bishop Creamery the evening was a huge success and plans are already in place for it to return in 2017 on Friday 10th March.
The raffle saw some fantastic prizes donated, including 2 incredible home made cakes (click here to go to our facebook page to see just how good they were), and the final fundraising total stood at a massive £1,580.80!
Thanks to all who helped pre, during and post event, with of course the biggest thanks reserved for Len and Di. We can’t wait to do it all again next year…
