Our Walkie Talkie’s take place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. Meeting places vary depending on whether we travel to the walk by bus or tram and meet at 10.30am.  All walks finish at a pub, cafe or restaurant for lunch. Please note that guide dogs are permitted on these walks.

5 February – Forest Recreation Ground to the Arboretum, then the Lincolnshire Poacher

19 February – Gamston to Beckside, then the Willow Tree Pub

5 March – Gregory Street Canal to Beeston, then Tony’s Cafe

19 March – Colwick Country Park, then the Starting Gate Pub

2 April – Wilford Village, up the river to the Harvester Pub

16 April – Gedling Country Park – please bring a picnic

7 May – Wollaton Park, then the Wheelhouse Pub

21 May – Cotgrave Country Park to Woodlands, then the Rose and Crown Pub

4 June – Highfields, then lunch in the cafe or bring a picnic

18 June – Newstead Abbey (TBC)

2 July – Broadmarsh Gardens to the Embankment, then the Trent Bridge Inn

16 July – Mill Lakes, then The Bowman

6 August – Holme Pierrepont, then the Poppy and Pint

20 August – Riverside walk from Wilford to Clifton then The Crusader

3 September – Jubilee Campus to Castle Marina then The Water’s Edge

17 September – Beeston Marina to Attenborough Nature Reserve then lunch in the cafe

1 October – St John’s College, Bramcote to Bardills Garden Centre then lunch in the cafe

15 October – Through Wilford and Compton Acres then the Wolds Pub

5 November – Past the castle, along the canal and back through the Lace Market then the Huddl pub

19 November – Sneinton Market and Hockley – lunch venue to be confirmed

3 December – Through Broadmarsh to the canal and along to Gregory Street then the Trent Vineyard

17 December – The Park then Cafe Sobar
